JOB SUMMARY:
Independent Oil & Gas company headquartered in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a Lead Treasury Analyst to join its treasury team full-time. This position is onsite, 9/80 work schedule, or you can work four days onsite and have a WFH day on Friday.

- Salary: Up to $98k, 10% bonus potential

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily monitoring of banking activity through online banking portals.
- Identify the source of all credits and debits in the accounts.
- Ensure that all debits are identified as authorized payments.
- Maintain the treasury cash registers for all accounts to ensure the accuracy of balances.
- Provide bank transaction details to treasury/accounting staff to ensure the necessary accounting entries are posted.
- Assist with Wire and ACH transactions.
- Process stop payments through online banking portals.
- Positive Pay issuance of ACH and check files.
- Upload royalty files to third-party check printing providers.
- Process checks through check printing software.
- Credit Card Programs – Assist cardholders with needs, set up new cardholders, and pull monthly statements.
- Review of accounting cash receipt vouchers.
- Support treasury staff with Remote Deposits through banking portals.
- Support execution of treasury needs for issuance of letters of credit (LoC).
- Prepare credit applications.
- Provide support for cash forecasting.
- Reconcile bank registers to the accounting general ledger.
- Support the treasury team in the absence of the Treasury Manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Banking related field.
- 3-5 years of treasury or accounting experience.
- O&G industry experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Thorough familiarity with the full range of banking financial products.
- High-level skills in communication and documentation.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
