POSITION SUMMARY:

A well-established and dynamic real estate development company seeks a detail-oriented and collaborative Financial Analyst to join its growing, high-impact corporate finance team. The Financial Analyst will support the executive leadership team and various business units by delivering accurate financial forecasts, analyses, and insights. This position offers significant visibility within the organization, providing hands-on experience across all regions and business units while engaging regularly with senior leadership. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. 

  • Reports to: Director of Finance
  • Why the position is open: Backfilling due to an internal promotion
  • Compensation: $85k – $105k, 15-20% bonus
  • Schedule: Primarily on-site, with the flexibility to WFH on Wednesday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support executive leadership in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) across the organization, including building and maintaining financial forecasts, budgets, and reports. 
  • Refine and update financial forecasts to account for business operations and market conditions changes. 
  • Collaborate with different business units to produce timely and accurate financial reports. 
  • Develop presentation materials to present key financial metrics and insights to executives, development teams, construction managers, and property management teams. 
  • Participate actively in preparing and presenting materials to the Executive Committee and other company leaders. 
  • Drive process improvements across regions, business units, and departments to enhance financial efficiency. 
  • Exhibit a team-oriented mindset, ready to take on various roles, contribute independently, and support the company’s lean, entrepreneurial culture. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. 
  • Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and analytical skills; solid experience with PowerPoint. 
  • Strong project leadership capabilities with a proactive approach to tasks. 
  • Ability to work effectively in small and large teams and across different departments. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills. 
  • Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Entrepreneurial-spirited with a curiosity for analytics.
  • Investment banking, private equity, oil & gas, or real estate industry experience is desired.
