JOB SUMMARY:
A retail fuel company in Westchase is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join its team full-time. The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in the organization by partnering with the HR Director as a “thought partner” to deliver outcomes based on the HR strategy. In this role, the HR Manager will handle all HR duties, including, but not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between employees, managers, and the HR team. This position is onsite Monday – Friday.

- Salary: $115k – $130k, plus 15% bonus, 3 weeks PTO. Additionally, the Company offers 10.5 paid holidays, including 2 personal/floating holidays.

The ideal candidate will understand how to analyze data for their decision-making and evaluation of success. They will have experience with all HR competencies. They will be enthusiastic about creating a positive work environment and attracting and retaining top talent.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with the HR Director to understand and execute the department’s strategy, particularly concerning current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants in both professional roles and high-volume recruiting.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Manage the day-to-day workload for the HR generalist.
- Comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required.
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
